Mike Kaplan’s simultaneously warm toned and exciting tenor saxophone work has graced bandstands for over 40 years. In addition to helming his own Nonet (whose cd “How’s That?” received airplay on over 150 radio stations worldwide), Kaplan has played in big bands, Latin Jazz and Salsa groups, rhythm and blues bands and rock & roll groups. Mike brings his accomplished musical arranger’s touch to all musical situations from solo sax to big band.

Ted Brancato is a musician with four decades of experience in the music business. Since his early days, growing up in Seattle, WA, Ted has been actively performing, composing, arranging and recording music. Ted has performed and recorded with Houston Person, Ron Carter, Christian McBride, Milt Jackson, Ernestine Anderson and Paquito D'Rivera among others. Ted is a master of the groove…. from funk to swing to latin.. 

Kaplan & Brancato have known each other and performed together since the mid nineties and they have a special musical rapport and bond together.
